Programming Setup

In the illustration above is a setup that is used to upload and test the firmware of the module when it has arrived from factory.

The steps to program and test the module is as follows:

1: Upload firmware via ISP.
2: Send program signal with remote.
3: Send stop and start signal with remote. Verify that the external LED and kill switch turns on and off.
4: Change supply voltage between 5 and 3.3 and rund steps 2-3 again.
5: Test the “home mode” by pressing the external button and using a standard (RC-5) TV remote.
6: Send stop signal before removing the power to the module.
When programming many board steps 4 and 5 doesn’t have to been done on every module but should be performed once in a while as a control of quality.
